The Surge Filter pumps pond water through K+ Media, which acts as a mechanical barrier to trap debris. Waste particles remain within the media until they’re dislodged and flushed away by the patented Air Clean Technology.

Air Clean Technology harnesses the power of open-cell K+ Media and air for a low-energy, cost-effective cleaning process. With the pump off, ball valves closed, and the waste valve open, air is drawn into the filter, causing the media to move chaotically. This action dislodges trapped waste, which is then expelled through the waste line, leaving the media clean and ready to continue filtering your pond water.
